For the first time, the Católica Medical School and the Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre are pleased to announce the Medical Education Day, which will take place on May 13th, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Católica Medical School.
We invite colleagues, professors, students, and the community involved in Medical Education, as well as members from across the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, to join us on this special day.
In addition to promoting reflection and discussion about the current landscape of Medical Education, the event will feature the participation of highly relevant national and international speakers in the field, who will share insights into the challenges and opportunities in Medical Education.
Yoon Soo Park, Director of the Department of Medical Education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (Chicago), Ara Tekian, Director of International Programs and Associate Dean for International Education at the University of Illinois (Chicago), Maria Amélia Ferreira, Retired Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and Maria José Diógenes, President of the Pedagogical Council at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, are among the invited speakers for this event.
The event is free of charge, however, advance registration is required.
