Mariana Moreira is a nutritionist with a bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences, a master’s in Clinical Nutrition and a postgraduate degree in Nutrition in Oncology.
She is currently a clinical researcher at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine, working in the Microbiome in Health and Disease Lab where her research focuses on using the microbiome as an actionable tool in precision oncology, with a particular emphasis on discovering new biomarkers to prevent, diagnose and treat colorectal cancer.
