The image of the physician as the sole holder of all knowledge is changing, giving way to a professional who works in symbiosis with technology to offer more precise, personalized, and accessible care.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Computer technology has the most visible and far-reaching impact. It has made knowledge accessible to everyone, healthcare professionals and the general public, fostering a more balanced dialogue between physician and patient and enabling shared decision-making.
