It aims not only to provide up-to-date knowledge on the subject but also to inspire new progress in tuberculosis vaccine research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Paulo Bettencourt holds a degree in Biotechnology from ISHT, a PhD in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon, and completed his postdoctoral research at the Jenner Institute, University of Oxford, where the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and the R21\/Matrix-M malaria vaccine were developed.
