Isabel Vaz, <\/a>CEO of Luz Sa\u00fade<\/a> and a member of the Board of the Cat\u00f3lica-Luz Clinical Academic Centre, was awarded the Gold Medal of the Ministry of Health for Services Rendered \u2014 a tribute and expression of gratitude for everything she has done for the healthcare sector in Portugal, notably through the creation of the Luz Sa\u00fade Group and all that it represents today within the national healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Clinical Council of Luz Sa\u00fade and former Clinical Director of Hospital da Luz Lisboa, physician Jos\u00e9 Roquette, was also awarded a Medal of the Ministry of Health for Services Rendered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several institutions from the fields of science, research, and academia took part in the celebration, including the Champalimaud Foundation<\/a>, which hosted the event; AICIB \u2013 Ag\u00eancia de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Cl\u00ednica e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o; <\/a>AIBILI<\/a>; i3S \u2013 Instituto de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o em Sa\u00fade;<\/a> e a GIMM \u2013 Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
