{"id":14851,"date":"2026-05-27T08:38:31","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T08:38:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cac-cl.pt\/?p=14851"},"modified":"2026-05-27T08:39:40","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T08:39:40","slug":"catolica-luz-clinical-academic-centre-was-present-at-the-5th-national-meeting-on-clinical-research-and-biomedical-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cac-cl.pt\/pt\/catolica-luz-clinical-academic-centre-was-present-at-the-5th-national-meeting-on-clinical-research-and-biomedical-innovation\/","title":{"rendered":"Cat\u00f3lica Luz Clinical Academic Centre was present at the 5th National Meeting on Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cat\u00f3lica Luz Clinical Academic Centre was represented by its Executive Director, Ana Rita Constante, at the 5th National Meeting on Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation, organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/aicib.pt\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/aicib.pt\/\">AICIB &#8211; Ag\u00eancia de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Cl\u00ednica e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Biom\u00e9dica<\/a>, which took place on May 21th at the Main Auditorium of the University of Algarve \u2013 Gambelas Campus, in Faro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This fifth edition of ENICIB, held in celebration of International Clinical Trials Day, provided an important platform for sharing knowledge, reflection, and discussion on the key challenges and opportunities shaping Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation in Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event brought together national authorities, policymakers, representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare institutions, and both national and international experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cat\u00f3lica Luz Clinical Academic Centre would also like to congratulate<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitaldaluz.pt\/learninghealth\/pt\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.hospitaldaluz.pt\/learninghealth\/pt\/\"> Hospital da Luz Learning Health<\/a> on receiving the AICIB 2025 Award. This distinction recognizes its contribution to the development of PRECISE, an AI-based model created to support feasibility assessments and accelerate the identification of patients eligible for clinical trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This recognition reflects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitaldaluz.pt\/learninghealth\/pt\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.hospitaldaluz.pt\/learninghealth\/pt\/\">Hospital da Luz Learning Health<\/a>\u2019s ongoing commitment to innovation, scientific rigor, and excellence in healthcare and
