Breathing is the first and last act of our lives, but we only value it when faced with illness. World Lung Day, observed on September 25th, reminds us of the importance of prevention. In Portugal, respiratory diseases are already the third leading cause of death.
To breathe. It is the first and last act of our lives — such an automatic gesture that we only notice it when it becomes a challenge. On September 25th, World Lung Day is an opportunity to draw attention to the importance of lung health, emphasizing the impact of respiratory diseases on global health and the importance of preventive actions.
