Teaching medicine today goes far beyond textbooks and theoretical classes. Students need to put what they’re taught into practice. In this context, simulation plays a crucial role in medical education. It allows students to practice without putting patients at risk. This method not only increases future doctors’ confidence but also improves knowledge retention and their ability to handle high-stress situations, better preparing them for their first patient“.

The use of patients in medical education is considered essential and recommended at an early stage of medical training. However, the use of real patients raises many issues related to their privacy, safety, and especially comfort, as they are individuals in extremely vulnerable situations“.
