At this conference, the Católica Medical School was represented by Débora Oliveira (Mobility, Cooperation and International Relations), who joined the Portuguese delegation at the invitation of the Embassy of Canada in Portugal.
This prestigious international event marked the first joint participation of national Higher Education institutions and the Erasmus+ National Agency.
Under the theme “The Future in Focus: Advancing International Education in Times of Uncertainty”, the conference brought together over 1,000 participants from 26 countries, fostering discussion on new strategies for global collaboration, with a focus on sustainability, inclusion and innovation in Higher Education.
On the occasion of the conference, the Embassy of Canada in Portugal also organized an institutional visit programme dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, which included stops at Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, HEC Montréal, the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, and IVADO Labs, providing participants with direct exposure to Canada’s dynamic innovation and research ecosystem.
