This project is led by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) in Spain and brings together universities, clinical centres, investment organisations and entrepreneurship experts from across six countries.

A plataforma HEALTHPRENEURS consortium includes universities and strategic partners from six countries: Spain, Italy, Albania, Scotland, England and Portugal.
Participating institutions include the University of Navarra (Spain), Strathclyde University (Scotland), Università San Raffaele (Italy), University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Sports University of Tirana (Albania) and partners such as Cambridge Biocapital (United Kingdom) and Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre (Portugal).
The partners are united by a common goal: turning scientific knowledge into real-world impact in the health sector. Through this project, training programmes, digital incubation platforms, startup acceleration activities and collaboration mechanisms with industry will be implemented.
With a total European Union funding of €1.34 million, the HEALTHPRENEURS consortium has been selected under Cohort 4 of the EIT HEI Initiative, a strategic action of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) aimed at enhancing innovation capacity in higher education institutions across Europe.
HEALTHPRENEURS actively supports the EIT’s mission to build inclusive and sustainable innovation ecosystems and demonstrates a strong dedication to promoting entrepreneurship as a key driver of knowledge transfer in the health sector.
