On October 10th and 11th, the Alfândega do Porto will host the second edition of the Atlantic Health Wellness Summit – a gathering that brings together innovation, science, and humanism to rethink the future of health and wellness.
Also attending this event as speakers will be Professor João Pereira – Associate Professor and Executive Director of the Católica Medical School – and José Germano de Sousa – Clinical Pathologist, Manager, current President of the Association of Family Businesses, and Member of the Scientific and Strategic Council of the Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre.
João Pereira holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from IST and a PhD in Brain Imaging from the University of Cambridge. His career bridges academia, entrepreneurship, and public service.
José Germano de Sousa, a leading figure in laboratory medicine and family business leadership, has been an active voice in promoting responsible succession, ethical governance, and long-term business sustainability.
