On Wednesday, November 19th, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the first Clinical Session at Hospital da Luz featuring medical students will take place – an important milestone in the collaboration between the Hospital and the Católica Medical School.
This session will focus on the clinical rotation in General and Family Medicine within the Católica Medical School program and will include contributions from both faculty members and students.
The session will be introduced by Dr. João Sequeira Carlos, coordinator and professor at Católica Medical School, and Professor António Almeida, Director of the school, who will provide the opening remarks.
Following the introduction, students Beatriz Matias, Inês Lajas, Mariana Coelho, and Gonçalo Ruivo will share their experiences and insights from their clinical training in General and Family Medicine, reflecting on the challenges and lessons learned throughout this stage of their education.
This initiative strengthens the joint commitment of Hospital da Luz and Católica Medical School to integrating students into real clinical settings, promoting excellence in medical education and reinforcing the connection between academic training and clinical practice.
