On June 16th and June 17th, the kick-off event for the European project HEALTHPRENEURS took place at UCAM HiTech, part of the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain. This innovative project, coordinated by UCAM and funded by the EIT Higher Education Initiative, aims to promote research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector.
As an associated partner, the Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre (CAC-CL) was represented by its Executive Director, Ana Rita Constante. Her participation reaffirmed CAC-CL’s commitment to collaborative research, technological innovation, and clinical excellence, strengthening the centre’s role within the academic and healthcare ecosystems.
During the kick-off event, CAC-CL representatives engaged with key national and international stakeholders, sharing insights and exploring opportunities for strategic partnerships. The event provided a chance to visit UCAM HiTech facilities and the UCAM campus, as well as to present the partner institutions involved in the project.
In addition to collaborative working sessions focused on the project’s work packages, participants took part in cultural activities that fostered networking and the exchange of ideas.
This event marked the beginning of a promising journey for HEALTHPRENEURS, which aims to drive the development of innovative solutions in healthcare by combining research, entrepreneurship, and higher education.
