Católica Biomedical Research Centre researcher Luís Rocha is the new recipient of the Lois B. DeFleur Faculty Prize for Academic Achievement, which “is awarded to a faculty member or group of faculty for an achievement that enhances Binghamton University’s reputation for excellence, innovation, and collaborative efforts.”
In the words of Mohammad Khasawneh, a professor at SUNY (State University of New York) and chair of the Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University, in a post on his LinkedIn profile, the Lois B. DeFleur Award is “a highly competitive and well-deserved honor” e a “a reflection of Luís’s hard work, dedication, excellence, and commitment to the mission and vision of Binghamton University,” where Luís Rocha holds the George J. Klir Professorship in Systems Science.
