A plataforma Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Católica (CMS) is partnering with the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) to offer the course “Statistics and Data Science in Medicine”, a program designed for healthcare professionals and researchers who wish to strengthen their skills in data analysis applied to medicine.
The course, promoted by comCiências – FCUL, is held in person after working hours and covers topics such as applied statistics, real data analysis, interpretation of results, and critical reading of scientific studies.
CMS is part of the course’s teaching staff through the following professors:
- Prof. João Santos Pereira, Course Coordinator and Lecturer;
- Prof. Leonor Bacelar Nicolau, Lecturer.
The program is designed to support doctors, interns, healthcare professionals, and researchers in developing essential skills for working with clinical and biomedical data, promoting more informed and evidence-based practice.
