About Elsa Logarinho
Elsa Logarinho holds a degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Porto and is currently a Principal Investigator and leader of the “Aging and Aneuploidy” group at i3S, dedicated to investigating mechanisms of genomic instability that contribute to cellular senescence and aging pathologies.
Her group applies interdisciplinary and therapeutic approaches in human cellular models and in animal models of natural and premature aging (Down syndrome and progeria).
