Applications are now open for the Second Edition of the Higher University Course in Scientific Entrepreneurship, an online programme designed to develop entrepreneurial skills in the fields of science and health while promoting innovation with real-world impact!
The course is developed within the framework of the HEALTHPRENEURS project, an international initiative that aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), particularly in the Health, Sports, and Nutrition sectors. The project responds to the growing need to strengthen entrepreneurial capacities among students, researchers, and academic and non-academic staff, while also supporting the development of innovative startups emerging from the academic environment.
The Higher University Course in Scientific Entrepreneurship offers a flexible, self-paced online learning experience, enabling participants to acquire practical knowledge about innovation, entrepreneurship, and the transformation of scientific ideas into impactful solutions. Through an international learning environment, the programme encourages participants to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and develop the skills needed to translate research and knowledge into societal and economic value.
Participants will benefit from several key features, including flexible learning at their own pace, a free digital certificate upon completion, and the opportunity to engage within an international academic ecosystem focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.
The HEALTHPRENEURS consortium is led by UCAM – Catholic University of Murcia (Spain) and brings together several European institutions, including the University of Navarra (Spain), University of Strathclyde (Scotland), Università San Raffaele (Italy), University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Sports University of Tirana (Albania), StartupWiseGuys (Estonia), and Cambridge Biocapital (United Kingdom).
Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre participates in the initiative as an associated partner, contributing to the dissemination and impact of the project and supporting initiatives that strengthen the connection between academia, healthcare, and innovation.
