General and Family Medicine Tutor Day
Prompt for the future: the human touch of General and Family Medicine in the age of AI
The integration of AI in medical education is transforming learning, but it also raises challenges to critical thinking and the development of autonomous clinical reasoning, among others. It is important to reflect on how to integrate AI into the teaching of General and Family Medicine in a critical and safe way, promoting the responsible use of these tools while strengthening fundamental clinical skills.
Thus, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to the General and Family Medicine Tutor Day 2026, a joint initiative organized by the Department of General and Family Medicine at NOVA Medical School, the University Clinic of General and Family Medicine at FMUL, and the Primary Care Rotation of the Faculty of Medicine of the Portuguese Catholic University.
This event arises from a desire to bring General and Family Medicine closer to Medical Schools. In addition to a program that will certainly be of interest to you, we aim to get to know all our tutors better, as well as the informal collaborators involved in General and Family Medicine placements and colleagues interested in future collaboration.
