The Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre was represented by its Executive Director, Ana Rita Constante, at the 5th National Meeting on Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation, organized by AICIB – Agência de Investigação Clínica e Inovação Biomédica, which took place on May 21th at the Main Auditorium of the University of Algarve – Gambelas Campus, in Faro.
This fifth edition of ENICIB, held in celebration of International Clinical Trials Day, provided an important platform for sharing knowledge, reflection, and discussion on the key challenges and opportunities shaping Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation in Portugal.
The event brought together national authorities, policymakers, representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare institutions, and both national and international experts.
The Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre would also like to congratulate Hospital da Luz Learning Health on receiving the AICIB 2025 Award. This distinction recognizes its contribution to the development of PRECISE, an AI-based model created to support feasibility assessments and accelerate the identification of patients eligible for clinical trials.
This recognition reflects Hospital da Luz Learning Health’s ongoing commitment to innovation, scientific rigor, and excellence in healthcare and research.
